February Arctic Blast

A strong arctic cold front swept across the area Wednesday, February 12^th, causing temperatures across the region to plummet. The strong winds lead to wind chill advisories and warnings being issued for Minnesota. Thursday morning lows were between -10 and -15 with gusts from 20 to 30 mph leading to wind chills in the -30s. Noontime temperatures on Thursday the 13^th were 25 to 30 degrees colder than they were on Wednesday. Friday morning temperatures were cold again, ranging from -10 to -20, but warmed up into the mid to upper teens as southerly winds brought warmer air to the area.
