Hennepin West Mesonet Stations in MADIS

As Severe Weather Awareness Week 2020 kicked off this past Monday, April 13th we received news that all 21 of our mesonet stations are officially being ingested by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) Meteorological Assimilation Data Ingest System (MADIS).This system allows our data to be directed linked into models and National Weather Service visualizations for forecasters to use daily. We would also like to thank our many partners for their time and energy to help us grow our network and increase our weather awareness in and around Hennepin County.
