October Rainfall Already More Than September

For most mesonet stations, the first five days of October have seen more rain than the entire month of September – only Maple Grove had more rain in September. This recent rain was mainly due to a slow moving system that brought a lot of moisture into Minnesota. The highest recorded rainfall total for October so far is in Hanover, MN, at 3.70 inches.
